WINDHOEK – The eagerly awaited Kasi Tournament slated for the Havana Sports Field tomorrow, promises to deliver nothing but blister action that will keep spectators on their toes the whole day.
Following two successful editions, this year’s edition of the sports extravaganza is expected to be bigger and better, with six top netball teams also joining the competition for the first time this weekend.
In the football category, which consists of eight teams, United Boys will open the day’s proceedings with a crucial clash against the tough and redoubtable Brave United, followed by the clash between Sipenitha FC and Hakahana United, which also promises thrilling action.
In the third match of the day, fans can brace themselves for a physical battle between Eleven Bullets and Akaduku FC, with both teams determined to deliver their best performances in a bid to take top honours. In the final clash, Havana City and E-Champions will go into this clash with their heads held high aiming to progress to the next and hopefully win the tourney.
In the netball category, United Girls, City Stars and Ondobe United will all face each other in a round-robin system in Group A, while Etunda Ladies, Eleven Bullets and Windhoek Beauties grill each other in Group B.
