WINDHOEK – For the fourth consecutive year and with the aim to boost small and medium enterprises (SMEs), Standard Bank Namibia is supporting the Katutura Expo with a sponsorship of N$20 000.
“Standard Bank Namibia believes in promoting SMEs and entrepreneurial development as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility. Ultimately such activities not only promote local businesses, but also lead to economic empowerment, poverty alleviation and employment creation,” said Surihe Gaomas-Guchu, the manager of PR and corporate communication at Standard Bank Namibia.
The 2014 Katutura Expo which will take place at the Katutura Multipurpose Youth Complex aims to serve as a catalyst for the re-engineering of the Katutura business model in order to bring about a positive paradigm shift for the benefit of local entrepreneurs within Katutura.
The expo, which will be held from 31 July to 3 August is being hosted by the Katutura Central constituency office. Standard Bank Namibia has been supporting the Katutura Expo ever since its inception 2011.
