By John Travolter Matali

TSINTSABIS – The sleepy town of Tsintsabis in Oshikoto Region was shaken on Tuesday night when a man was allegedly clubbed to death.

Two men were involved in a heated argument at one of the watering holes at the town and the argument degenerated into a fatal beating.

According to reliable police sources, the incident took place at around 20h00 on Tuesday night.

The 23-year-old suspect who was arrested beat Heiki Ndiweda Ndevatela, whose age is unknown, to death.

The suspect somehow got a hold of a stick and used it to beat Ndevatela in a fit of rage.  Although the suspect has been arrested, reasons for the argument that led to the fatal beating remain unknown.

Police did not rule out alcohol as a contributing factor in the gruesome beating and investigations were still ongoing.
