A thing I am quite vocal about is that entrepreneurship was never something I imagined would become me.

The beauty of travel is that no one’s experience is exactly the same as the other. I have been to the desert more times than I can remember. Sometimes I slum it and go for a camping experience. 

Okay, so the headline is a little dramatic, considering borders have been open for a while, but I needed a little drama for my first international travel piece; you know?

If you’re even a little bit like me, you likely know very little about the Kwando River. 

I have been extremely blessed to experience some of the best Namibia has to offer. I have seen the mountainous regions of Damaraland, the highest and reddest dunes of Sossusvlei, and the waves of the Atlantic Ocean have touched my feet at least twice. Like I said, the best Namibia has to offer.   

I have prioritised domestic travel these past few years, and what I have found in those few years of travel is not only that Namibia is gorgeous, of course, but also that this country has many beautiful and underexplored areas; areas that are full of character, greenery, forestry, almost heavenly. 

For Valentine’s Day this year, we took a short trip to the newly-renovated Midgard Lodge of O&L Leisure.
