WINDHOEK– Afro-Pop artist, Asser Nepolo, aka Bantu1, has released his second album, Road to Victory.
According to Bantu1, Road to Victory is a special album he did to promote the Swapo Party clothing line and election campaign. “The album consists of 16 tracks, of which track three is my best, as it is danceable and elders friendly, we mostly just do music for young people but this one I dedicate it to our elders.” Legacy, Life, Let’s go vote and The Hero are some of the tracks. Bantu1 urges everyone to get a copy of the album as it has a massage for both young and elder. “It encourages the youth to study hard and take care of themselves and the government’s officials to take care of the country’s economy, drivers to drive safe to avoid more accidents,” says Bantu1.
Bantu1 joined the music industry in 2008 when he released his first album, Respect while completing his training at the Windhoek Vocational Training Centre (WVTC). “I released my first album last year with the Ghetto Pride group and the album was sold out early this year,” says Bantu1.
