Base FM donated the proceeds of its Charity Event to the Halleluyah Tulonga Kindergarten in Ombili.

The proceeds were collected at an event the station hosted about three weeks ago partnering with the Navarra Lounge, Crucial Productions, Dj Snoop, Crucial Selekta, Kp Illest and Exit. Crucial Selekta, the organiser, says Base FM has been running a charity involving collecting clothes and blankets to give away. “These types of donations are welcome all the times because the proceeds from it are given to a charity of Base FM’s choice,” says Crucial Selekta. They did not only gave what they had, but spend time with the kids of the kindergarten, which is ran by Johanna Andreas, and her daughter, Taimi.

Andreas was highly grateful and asked for anyone else willing to help in any way to do so. “I am grateful for what they did and the time they spend with the children. These children really need to know there are people out there [who] love and care for them,” says Andreas.
