Namibia’s women cricket team, the Capricorn Eagles lost to Papua New Guinea by six wickets last Friday, in the Women’s T20I quadrangular series in Thailand. The Eagles batted first, posting a 74 total, but got bowled out by Papua New Guinea.
Namibia is currently ranked fourth and at the bottom of the series after having lost both their matches against Thailand and Papua New Guinea.
Leading the log in first position is Scotland, having won both their matches, followed by Thailand in second position with one win and one loss and Papua New Guinea in third with also one win and one loss.
In today’s fixture, the Eagles will face Scotland at the Terdthai Cricket Ground in Bangkok at 9h30.
