There seems to be little return on the billions government pumps into the defence ministry, if a statement delivered by its minister Frans Kapofi yesterday is anything to go by.

A Windhoek resident, accused of viciously attacking and killing his wife with a hammer, was convicted of murder with direct intent and defeating the course of justice on Tuesday.

Three police officers allegedly involved in the murder of a former police officer that took place last week at Ehafo lyaKandenge village in the Oshana region, have been arrested.
