WINDHOEK - MTC’s Chief Human Capital & Corporate Affairs Officer and the Founder and President of the Institute of People Management of Namibia, Tim Ekandjo, was recently awarded the “100 Global HR Heroes Award” at the 27th World HRD Congress. The World HRD Congress took place from the 15 to 17 February at Taj Lands Mumbai and was attended by over 1300+ global leaders from various continents including Asia, Africa and USA.  

WINDHOEK – Last Friday, the enthusiastic young competition winners and their parents gathered at the Sanlam Investments office in Windhoek to receive their prizes handed to them by Tega Shiimi ya Shiimi, CEO of Sanlam Investments Namibia. WINDHOEK - The University of Namibia (Unam) Vice-Chancellor, Kenneth Matengu says upon completion of the 2019 academic registration, the university is migrating data to integrator 4.1 (the latest version of Adapt IT system) which should be fully operational and stable by June this year.

LÜDERITZ - The swab samples collected last week on penguins at Halifax Island in Lüderitz and tested by the Central Veterinary Laboratory tested positive of Avian Influenza H5N8 though the situation is under control, says the Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources.

WALVIS BAY - The Minister of Fisheries and Marine Resources, Bernhard Esau, says Namibia’s fish stocks are healthy and are being sustainably managed.
