Dairy industry lost Court case

Home Focus Dairy industry lost Court case

Judge Dave Smuts last week granted the application of Matador, Clover and Parmelat and thus the regulations for the quantative restrictions for the import of dairy products were put aside. The state was also ordered to pay the costs of the applicant.

The state in the meantime have appealed which means that the quantative restrictions are still applicable until the Appeal Court will give a verdict.
