A booklet defines the rules, regulations and guidelines of both the Ministry of Agriculture Water and Forestry (MAWF), as well as the Ministry of Environment and Tourism (MET) for anyone partaking in the thinning of bush encroached land and/or the harvesting of woody biomass in Namibia. The booklet also contains the framework of a generic environmental management plan to be used to apply for environmental clearance from MET for projects that exceed 150 hectares per year of bush thinning.
