Home Time Out Exit and co perform at Base FM charity gig

 Windhoek

Base FM in collaboration with Navara Lounge, Illest Entertainment, Rockaz and Crucial Productions is hosting a Charity Gig tomorrow night at the Navara Lounge.

According to Crucial Selekta, the organiser, the show is a way of appreciating the support the society gives. “Giving back to the people is one of Base FM’s foundations and it’s for this reason they decided to host this show,” he says.

Artists such as Conga Jazz, KP Illest, Exit, Dj Snoop and Base FM Djs will perform for free and along with Base FM management they will purchase necessities with the fund that will be raised from tickets. They will distribute the necessities to charity and spend a day at any of the children’s home that will be chosen as the beneficiary. “They all offer to perform for free as  part of their way of appreciating the support they have had over the years from the public, and giving back to those that are less fortunate in our society,” says Selekta.

Apart from this event, Base FM has been running a charity drive  involving collecting clothes and blankets to give to the needy. “Because giving is the theme of the night, these types of donations will also be welcomed at the event and the proceeds from it will be going to a charity of Base FM’s choice,” says Selekta.

Navara Lounge is situated on the corner of Mandume Ndemufayo and Bahnoff streets in the City Centre. Entrance fee is N$ 30 and the show starts at seven O’clock (19h00) till late.
