Sensational Afro Pop, Kwaito and Dancehall singers, Indenukuye Shudeni, popularly known as Msunday and Johannes Simon aka J.S. have released their debut album titled Real.

“We decided to title the album Real because what we sing on the album are things happening in real life. It is also not only about what we see but it is also about us. Whatever we do, we do it real,” says Msunday.  He adds that they have been working on the album for the past two years, after going into a joint venture in 2013. “It took us two years to finish the album because of different works and other commitments. J.S. works in Grootfontein and I am working in Walvis Bay. We hardly get time to travel for recordings,” explains Msunday.

The 18-track album was recorded by Patrick Thaniseb, aka P-flat and produced by Eddy Mambofrany and Howard from Grootfontein. The first song on the album is Shaindulu featuring Pele, who is well-known from the group known as Raphael and Pele. “The song is encouraging different people of different tribes to love one another as a nation. On another song on the album, Efeni Okaana, we talked about those men (some) who force women into unwanted relationships, marriages and sexual activities by giving them empty promises,” says Msuday.
