WINDHOEK
Next Wednesday the Minister of Education will officiate at a diploma ceremony for 60 students, who have passed the official tests of proficiency in the French language. He will also welcome the three students who are about to graduate from Unam and become teachers of French in Namibian schools, it was announced in a press statement by the Franco-Namibia Cultural Centre.
The three students constitute the first class trained by Unam to become teachers of French. They have benefited from sponsorships from the French government to complete their studies.
