For the needy… Ondangwa-born entrepreneur Tim Martins (with white hard hat) celebrated his birthday at the John Shekudja Combined School (CS) in Okalongo, Omusati region on 31 March 2022. Martins is passionate about giving back to the community and decided on the John Shekudja CS for his “I got your back my sisters” campaign, which helps school girls from impoverished communities with sanitary pads. The campaign was established this year and is powered by Martins’ friends and family as well as Namibian businesses Raphael Design, 311 Studio, BiziBoys Namibia, Pub Millionaire and Ricco Design Investment CC. The next schools to receive donations are the Uukwiyuushona CS and Shaanika Nashilongo SS.
