WINDHOEK– Komo’s Institute for Professional Development (KIPD) will be offering Winter Classes (extra classes) to the Grade 10 and 12 learners in Oshakati starting April 27 until May 8.

According to Lukas Komeya, KIPD Founding Director, they will offer assistance in the National Senior Secondary Certificate for Ordinary Level (NSSCO) in Physical Science and Biology, NSSC Mathematics and English as a Second Language (Core and Ext). Learners are expected to pay a fee of N$300 per subject. “We are running the project on cost recovery charges, because we have to rent the premises and remunerate the tutors for their services,” says Komeya.

He adds that the main aim of this initiative is to maximise and reinforce quality education and concepts learned through tutorials and to guide learners on how to answer examination questions. “We want to close the knowledge gap and clear all misconceptions among learners as we strive for better academic performance in Namibia,” says Komeya.

Learners have a choice to choose subject they want help in and they are only paying for the one they choose. The fees will cover the all the days and tuition will take place at Tucson Oshakati, says Komeya. More information is available from Komeya at mllukask@gmail.com or 0812867424 815851543.
