Young entrepreneur Alicia Fillipus is contributing to skin care innovation in Namibia with MsWhiteGlow Skincare, products that cater to everyone.

In an exclusive sit down with New Era’s SME Spotlight, Fillipus explained how she became inspired to create the brand.

“I have been struggling to get a simple skincare product or products that work well for my skin but don’t feel overwhelming, which is why our approach focuses on simplicity without compromising on results,” she said.

Filipus highlighted how simple skincare should work: not complicated, but manageable and stress-free. In this regard, the MsWhiteGlow brand assures future novices of its dedication to providing quality products.

“Our goal is to help you build a healthy skincare habit using just three essential products, carefully designed to cleanse, hydrate, and protect your skin. Each product works together to restore moisture, improve skin texture, and enhance your natural glow,” Fillipus explained.

The brand’s emphasis on simplicity highlights the founder’s confidence in her products. In this regard, she highly anticipates the brand’s impact on dry and other skin types.

“With MsWhiteGlow, you don’t need a complicated routine to achieve beautiful, nourished skin. We believe that everyone deserves access to an easy, reliable skincare system that fits into everyday life while delivering real results. Keep it simple. Stay consistent. Let your skin glow,” said Fillipus.

Meanwhile, Fillipus serves not just as the founder but also as a user who used and learned how to trust the MsWhiteGlow products that made up her skincare routine.

It was after using the products for a while that she now feels confident sharing it with everyone looking for a special glow.

“Keeping things simple, gentle, and effective is key, and this routine is designed to do just that,” Fillipus added.

On the launch date, the entrepreneur said, “I have not yet set an exact date as to when I will be launching the products, but it should be next month by the grace of God.”

Globally, the skincare industry’s value is expected to reach US$215.4 billion in 2026, supported by greater dermatology literacy, wider adoption of preventive routines, and rising demand for solutions addressing barrier repair, photoaging, pigmentation, and acne control.

Moreover, skincare product sales are projected to expand at an 8.1% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) through 2036, taking the sector beyond US$467 billion.

The industry’s growth is being reinforced by ageing demographics that prioritise corrective care, alongside younger consumers building early habits around daily moisturisation, sun protection, and active-based regimens.
