Another Clothing Line in the northern part of the country, Nice-One, has released their first sparkling and shining designs.
The clothing line was founded by two young entrepreneurs Richie Timothy and Trigger Mbago, with the main aim of encouraging Namibians to support local products and keeping it original. The designs were showcased to the public earlier this year, with the first photo shoots at Bennies Entertainment Park in Ongwediva, followed by the official launch last month. They come in ranges, Nice-One Jitta T-shirts and Nice-One Diva Tops, which are currently selling well country wide. “It’s really quite amazing how the Namibian people are loving their own local brands rather than international once, which is motivating us to even work extra hard,” says Richie.
He adds that they came up with the clothing line to dress Namibians and encourage them to always keep it local. “We thought of Nice-One because one has to look nice when wearing the product,” Richie explains the name. “Our aim is to dress Namibians and take our clothing line to international markets, as we are currently busy in talk with some people from South Africa and Dubai who wants our brand. They saw our Brand on Facebook and they told us that they are really impressed,” says Trigger adding they are also planning to design all kind of clothes and other accessories.
