Renowned evangelist and motivational speaker Nick Vujicic will have two events in Namibia next month as part of the NickV Ministries Africa Tour.
The day of spiritual growth and national transformation, being hosted by the Alliance of Christian Churches is slated for 22 May.
Under the theme ‘Next Generation of Champions Arise’, the visit will feature two major events aimed at inspiring faith, unity
and national transformation across the country. At a time when Namibia stands at a pivotal moment for spiritual renewal, Nick Vujicic brings a life-changing message of faith, purpose, resilience, and perseverance, he said.
Born without arms and legs, he has overcome extraordinary challenges to become one of the most impactful speakers in the world.
Through his organisation, Life Without Limbs, he has travelled to over 70 countries, inspiring millions with messages of hope, strength, and determination.
His visit to Namibia forms part of a broader mission of NickV Ministries to share the Gospel with one billion more people by 2028.
The day’s programme will begin with the National Prayer Breakfast. This event will bring together church leaders, business leaders, government representatives and civil society for a time of reflection, prayer, and spiritual alignment under God, with Vujicic as the guest speaker.
The gathering aims to create a platform to seek God’s guidance, promote unity, and pray for the future of Namibia.
Later in the day, the focus will shift to the main conference, which will take place at the Hage Geingob Stadium.
The event will feature Vujicic alongside performances from local gospel artists, offering an evening of inspiration, spiritual growth, and an opportunity for attendees to draw closer to God. Entrance to the stadium event will be free and open to the public. The event will also be livestreamed on NBC TV to ensure nationwide access.
Speaking on the upcoming events, Reverend Dolly Nangushe of the Alliance of Christian Churches in Namibia emphasised the expected impact of the gathering.
“We are expectant of what the Lord will do in this season. As part of our national reach, we are intentionally reaching out to organisations supporting people with disabilities, including those who have lost limbs and, through life’s challenges, now find themselves discouraged and without hope. We also highlight a matter of urgent national concern: many of our youth, faced with unemployment and hardship, are losing hope, turning to substance abuse and, tragically, in some cases, to suicide,” the clergy said.
He continued: “This is a reality that calls for the attention and action of all. We believe that his coming will bring inspiration, restoration, and renewed hope to every life. In this critical time, we trust God to intervene and use him as a vessel for His glory.”
Additionally, David Gavrilovic from NickV Ministries highlighted the significance of Namibia’s inclusion in the Africa Tour.
“It is a great honour for us to bring the message of hope to Namibia as part of this Africa tour. Around the world, we are witnessing how lives are being transformed through the Gospel and we believe Namibia is no exception,” Gavrilovic said.
