OSHAKATI– The fourth edition of the Northern Volley Games is set to take place at the Embadu Sports Stadium in Oshakati tomorrow.

Founder of the tournament Asheel Ramjit told Nampa on Thursday that the event has already attracted numerous corporate companies and teams from across the northern areas of Oshana, Ohangwena, Omusati and Oshikoto.

He said the competition is open to businesses and the general public, but it strictly excludes registered or professional league volleyball players.

“The games are strictly for non-professionals, focusing on team building and enjoyment for the whole family,” he said.

Ramjit stated that all participating teams must be mixed, with a 50/50 male and female representation.

First National Bank is the main sponsor of the event, with ambitions to expand this initiative to all regions of the country.

He urged the public to attend in large numbers and show their support for this day of fun and community spirit.
