The Ombahe Primary School in the Oshivelo Circuit of Oshikoto region received a donation of 15 computers from Methealth Namibia Administrators recently to the tune of N$50 000.

The principal of Ombahe Primary, Petrus Shigwedha, said the donation will advance the school’s efforts in offering classes and help develop the skills of its learners.

“The donated materials will also serve as an advantage to the teaching staff in terms of searching for information required during lesson preparation, and upgrading their
teaching skills and even qualifications,” he said.

Methealth Chief Executive Officer Florian Amulungu, pointed out how the donation will have a significant impact to the school at large, especially for the learners. He believes that the learners are going to gain experience, especially when it comes to digital skills.

“The donation will contribute to a conducive learning environment and teachers will be equipped with all necessary skills and tools,” he said. –shonangava@gmail.com
