WINDHOEK – Pick n Pay has opened its 18th store at Okongo in the Ohangwena Region.
“It is with pride that we can say that the Pick n Pay Group – a subsidiary of Namibia’s largest privately-held group of companies, the Ohlthaver & List Group – is a fully owned Namibian company that employs more than 1600 people. I trust that our new colleagues will enjoy their new jobs and serve our customers with passion,” said Pick n Pay Managing Director Henry Feris.
Pick n Pay Namibia is a subsidiary of the Ohlthaver & List (O&L) Group of Companies and opened its first store in 1997 at Wernhil Park in Windhoek. The Okongo shop opened on June 5. “Thank you Pick n Pay – we hope that you will continue your expansion strategy – looking after our smaller towns and villages – while at the same time supporting the Team Namibia aspect through the purchase and sale of Namibian products, while also assisting those less fortunate when and where you can,” said Usko Nghaamwa, Governor of the Ohangwena Region at the opening ceremony.
“Okongo, please come and shop with us and enjoy a world-class shopping experience as we are committed to bringing you the best in quality products and service,” said Feris.
