WINDHOEK- Krischka Stoffels and Ingrid Kinda won the best Original Screenplay while Tanya Stroh scoped Best Production Design. Dawie Engelbrecht walks away with Best Male Actor, Anna Louw the Best Female Actor and Oshosheni Hiveluah Best Director. Best Editor goes to Haiko Boldt from Everything Happens for a Reason.

In the theatre world the best male actor goes to Ndinomholo Ndilula while Zindri Swartz gets the Best Newcomer Director award. The Lesson won the Best Play beating The Complete Works of Shakespeare, The Teachers and Jakob Marengo- Lest We Forget, while Sandy Rudd won the best Director for The Lesson. Rodelio Lewis walks away with the Best Newcomer award.

Glitter and glamor was the order of the day at the National Theatre of Namibian (NTN) last Saturday where nominees of the 2014 Namibian Theatre and Film Award were awarded for their hard work. The event that attracted the film and theatre fraternity and its supporter saw many walking away with various accolades. The audience experienced a theatre performance by Ester Serrner, performing Meme Mia.
