Namibian versatile defender Aprocius ‘Kalefa’ Petrus has signed with Kosovo First Football League (FFL) outfit Liria FC, and joins compatriot Prins Tijueza at the same club.
The 22-year-old joined Liria FC from local coastal giants Blue Waters. On his way to becoming a regular for the Brave Warriors, Petrus boasts over 18 caps for the senior national team and plays in the left-back position.
The club confirmed the player’s arrival, and director Enis Gashi expressed his excitement about the prospects of signing Petrus. “He plays on the left side, but also plays as a left midfielder. He has the quality we need,” said the director during the signing ceremony with the footballer.
On his part, Petrus said he was excited about the opportunity to play for one of the biggest clubs in the country.
“My fellow countryman Prins Tijueza, who is shining with the Liria club, spoke to me about the team and football here. I am happy we will be together. I hope I can achieve the objectives with the club,” said the player on the club’s website.
