Namibian para-athlete Jerome Rooi is set to compete in the 2025 World Triathlon Championship Finals in Wollongong tomorrow, which includes the Para-Triathlon category.
The championship, which began on 15 October and runs until the 19th, has drawn athletes from over 43 countries.
Rooi heads into the event in fine form after an impressive showing at the 2025 World Triathlon Para Cup in Alhandra, where he clinched a bronze medal with a time of 01:21:31. This performance secured his qualification for the World Championships.
JP Smit is accompanying Rooi, stating that the para-athlete is ready to set in motion what he has been practising.
