Skills Growth Namibia, an initiative launched under the MothersBusiness umbrella, which is set to host a highly anticipated master class for administrators, is scheduled to take place on Saturday.
The event aims to highlight the organisation’s commitment to youth empowerment and combatting societal issues like unemployment by providing practical knowledge of the corporate environment.
Co-founder and marketing coordinator for Skills Growth Namibia Florence Ndianga said the line-up of esteemed speakers includes notable figures in their respective fields, such as manager/administrator Sara Shigweda, director at Mondjila Projects Advisory & Management Panashe Daringo, director at Wezesha Vocational College Augustinus Ngombe and Corporate Trainer Marcelle Martin.
Their collective expertise promises to offer valuable insights and expertise to attendees.
She added the workshop specifically targets administrators, front desk office assistants, administrative assistants, company secretaries, university students aspiring to pursue administrative professions and individuals looking to enhance their resumes.
“Attendees can expect to gain practical knowledge and skills essential for excelling in administrative roles and furthering their careers.
Upon completion of the master class, participants will be recognised for their achievements with a certificate of completion, adding value to their professional portfolios,” she said.
“The masterclass guarantees a rewarding experience, where attendees will gain valuable insights into effective administrative practices. It will be an opportunity to network with like-minded professionals, engage in interactive sessions and discuss overcoming administrative challenges.”
Skills Growth Namibia was founded in February this year to contribute to revitalising community-based initiatives that strive toward youth development and economic stability through the eradication of societal issues that affect society today, namely unemployment.
“Our team is made up of supporting committee members; I believe that for people to make progress or a change in the community, you need to work with people. I am grateful to my team: Guerschom Kitenge, the co-founder and events coordinator, and Florence Ndianga, the co-founder, who is also the marketing coordinator for Skills Growth Namibia.
She noted the workshop is designed to equip participants with practical techniques and strategies applicable to various administrative roles, enhancing problem-solving abilities and fostering efficient communication in the workplace.
The master class will be held at Marigold Hotel from 10h00 to 13h00. It is tailored to equip individuals with comprehensive and immersive skills transfer through structured workshops.
By fostering innovation and creativity, Skills Growth Namibia seeks to empower participants to develop and sustain initiatives within corporate environments successfully.
