Despite its perceived weaknesses, the Swapo Party Youth League (SPYL) will re-invent itself. It is just a matter of time. Namibians have so many challenging issues that need patriotic, honest and sincere minds. Therefore, the SPYL must provide interventions on this.
The revolutionary party, Swapo, is itself undergoing evolution politics, but we have to be strong to effect change and we must be prepared to lose legitimate people during that process of change.
Some Swapo structures will be de-legitimised by personal egos and personal vendettas during this process. It is thus important that the leadership of the day remains on heightened awareness when taking key decisions. Some of such decisions could embarrass the party and undermine its ideals and dreams. If the current leadership does not address the infighting properly, we are close to seeing comrades taking each to court and humiliating one another in the name of exclusion.
