WINDHOEK

Visa WorldWide, in partnership with Bank Windhoek and other commercial banks in Namibia, recently launched a competition that enables Namibians a chance of winning two packages for two people to Rugby World Cup 2007.

In a media release, Bank Windhoek pledged to give N$5 000 spending money per couple in support of this campaign, should one or both couples whose entry Visa is drawn be Bank Windhoek clients.

“This is an excellent opportunity for clients to support their favourite rugby teams and to see an exciting match between South Africa and England. Bank Windhoek is pleased that two Namibian couples will have the chance to win a trip to France and witness the Rugby World Cup 2007,” said Jerry Elago, Brand Marketing Coordinator at Bank Windhoek.

Bank Windhoek said the packages would enable two winners and their respective partners to a four-day, three-night trip to Paris, France, including return economy class flights for two people.

This includes accommodation for two people sharing and two tickets to attend the South Africa vs England rugby match, to take place on September 14, 2007.

The bank said the competition is open to any Bank Windhoek client in the possession of a Visa or Visa Electron card.

Clients can make any purchase with their Visa or Visa Electron card and visit www.visarugby-na.com to complete the entry form. Alternatively, clients can send an SMS with their name, surname, and value of purchase and date of purchase to the number 38472 for entry into the competition.

Bank Windhoek said once entered into the competition, clients stand a chance of winning a trip for themselves and a partner to the Rugby World Cup 2007. The competition will close on July 31, 2007.

“We would like to encourage our clients to make use of their Visa cards for purchases and to enter this competition, because the more Bank Windhoek clients enter, the better their chances are of winning this exciting trip,” said Elago.

The bank advised clients to visit any Bank Windhoek branch and ask for an information leaflet, or log onto the Bank Windhoek website at www.bankwindhoek.com.na.
