Last but not least as they say, and Saturday’s final drag championship race at the Okahandja Airfield Drag Strip promises to bring high speeds and lots of wheel screeching as cars and bikes hot foot it along the 400m strip.
This final event is a combined venture between Okahandja Motor Club, RAW and Outlaw Club to get the maximum exposure, and draw as many entries as possible, with a good mix in the vehicle, bike and quad categories.
Gates open at 9h00 for registration, and drag races start at 12h00 with organisers expecting some records to be broken with top speeds of over 200 km/h not impossibility. The man to beat at this stage with his record breaking speeds is Keith Hammerslag who drives a GTi Polo.
