Local contemporary jazz and R&B singer, Sean Kamati, aka Sean K was the Acoustic Friday feature at the Franco Namibian Cultural Centre (FNCC) recently taking the revelers through a raving night.

Despite the cold weather jazz and R&B lovers showed up in numbers and warmed their soul with the soulful melodies and jazz tunes. He performed songs such as Be strongTruth be told, Music is so good and Redemption song leaving the audience craving  and screaming for more. “Music is so good is a song I wrote about how music makes me feel,” explains Sean K.

Most of the songs he performed are going to be in his upcoming album, Status Updated to be released later this year. Sean K has been making waves on the local music scene ever since he started out a few years ago gain more popularity after performing at the Song Night in 2011. He eventually branched out and released his very first single Smiling which received great reviews and airplay on local radio stations.

He also had a solo act when South African jazz legend, Jonathan Butler, headlined  the Windhoek Jazz Festival and another great performance at the Namibia Rock Festival.
