Triumphant launches fibre technology school

Triumphant College has launched its new School of Fibre, a significant step in enhancing education in telecommunications technology.

The event highlighted the crucial role of fibre optic technology plays in communication in southern Africa, and was attended by high-level guests from various sectors.

Professor Geofrey Kaingi, founder of Triumphant College, at last week’s launch said: “This initiative not only shows our dedication to educational excellence, but also positions us at the forefront of technological progress. Fibre optic technology is essential for high-speed internet, cloud computing, and smart cities.”

The School of Fibre aims to equip students with the skills needed to succeed in a rapidly evolving job market. With increasing demand for professionals in fibre optics, the college’s programmes will offer both theoretical knowledge and practical experience, preparing graduates for vital roles in economic development.

In addition to the main programmes, a short course on fibre technology is underway. This five-week course began last Monday and will conclude on 2 December.

Students who are still interested can register and catch up on what has been covered so far. A special offer of N$5000 for the five-week course is available this week only.
