Ndiyona Combined School in Kavango East on Friday sent their hostel learners home till further notice due to a sewer leak that has flooded their hostel.
The sewer septic system needs to be pumped regularly but that has not been the case, sewage water is flowing back to the shower floors and learners are unable to take baths or use toilets and causing a stench.
The acting principal, Elleuterius Kanyinga, said yesterday that they have been waiting for the directorate of education to act on the matter.
