Unam Bokkies’ Thuba Sibanda and Mighty Gunners Ladies’ Salome Iyambo have successfully obtained their CAF B coaching diplomas from the Confederation of African Football in South Africa.
Sibanda said the results reflect what dedicated hard work and consistent effort can accomplish, expressing hope that the positive momentum will continue in their favour.
“This is a great achievement, a milestone that I am deeply grateful for. Credit belongs to my players and technical team – the honour,” said Sibanda. Looking ahead, she said she aims to advance further, noting that the courses broadened her understanding of how much the game has evolved, particularly through exposure to key approaches such as data analysis and performance evaluation.
She stressed that refining her coaching across all technical and tactical elements was crucial to her development as a coach.
Sibanda added that she is eager to apply what she has learned in the field with her team and to inspire other women in Namibia by showing that such achievements are possible.
