Adulting102 recently hosted its second episode of Season 2 at the MultiChoice National Headquarters in Windhoek.

The talks brought together industry leaders, communication specialists, entrepreneurs, creatives and young professionals for an informative and timely discussion on authenticity, responsible communication, digital influence and cyber awareness in today’s evolving information landscape.

Held under the theme ‘Beyond the Logo: Navigating Info & Influence’, the session highlighted the growing importance of authenticity in both personal and corporate branding, emphasising that trust, transparency and meaningful engagement remain critical in an age increasingly shaped by digital influence and online information.

The speakers and panellists included Deon Bona, Mufaro Nesongano, Abbeline Boer, Martha Kautanevali and Sergio Chigumira.

Speakers encouraged attendees to prioritise genuine communication and responsible storytelling while navigating modern media and professional spaces.

A major focus of the discussion also centred on cyber awareness and the risks associated with misinformation, digital manipulation, online scams and irresponsible digital engagement.

Panellists stressed the importance of public education, consumer awareness and proactive digital responsibility, particularly among young professionals and emerging entrepreneurs operating within highly connected digital environments.

Adulting102 managing director, Zohlanga /Gaseb, reaffirmed that access to information remains one of its core objectives as a platform.

“Through its events and engagements, the initiative continues to create spaces where communities can access practical knowledge, industry insights, professional development opportunities and meaningful conversations that empower individuals to make informed decisions and participate confidently in professional and business environments,” said /Gaseb.

The event was made possible through the strategic partnership and support of MultiChoice Namibia, whose collaboration contributed significantly to the success of the session and the broader impact of the platform’s educational and community-focused initiatives.

“As the platform continues to grow, Adulting102 remains committed to expanding its community, deepening impactful discussions and creating more collaborative spaces where professionals, brands, institutions and young people can engage on issues shaping modern society, business and digital culture,” she concluded.

Adulting 102 is an evolving platform built on the belief that access to information changes lives.

The brand organises curated events, purposeful campaigns, and impact-focused projects to foster spaces where youth, young professionals and entrepreneurs don’t merely receive information but actively experience, interact with, and benefit from it. akaure@nepc.com.na
