FNB Namibia has confirmed an increase in its eWallet’s daily limit from N$2000 to N$5000. “The increase will allow eWallet holders to keep money in their eWallets and offers them the flexibility to withdraw it whenever needed. The increase in limits also allows one to receive multiple eWallets up to a maximum of N$5000 per day, so there is no need to empty the wallet to receive more, as in the past,” says FNB manager cellphone banking and digital platforms Desery Van Wyk. Currently only cellphone banking is allowed for the once-off send of N$5000 per day, but the send limit of N$5000 will be available on the app from the beginning of October, while online banking and ATM limits will increase early in 2017,” Van Wyk said.
