WINDHOEK – You spent thousands of dollars on acquiring a new set of wheels. Something so dear and close to your heart. Thereafter, you go out of your way and ‘pimp the ride’ with additional thousands so that it stands out from the rest. Now why would you not take part in an event organised to make you show off your beautiful ride?
This is what special car owners did on the weekend of 25th of October when the “Day and night entertainment and the Rehoboth motor club” organised an event titled ‘Park-off ‘at the TransNamib sports field.
Cars from all over Namibia, as well as some from countries like Angola, came together for the love of cars, and the love of customising.
Car fanatics had the chance to meet and greet with other car enthusiasts, as well as join in the competitions of the day. A “rev-off” was held too, together with a “sound-off”.
Competitions that were held included best old-school ride, best new-school ride, and best interior and exterior, and below are the names of the winners.
