Miss Namibia Prisca Anyolo is diligently preparing to represent her nation on the international platform at the upcoming Miss Universe pageant in Mexico this November. In a recent interview with VIBEZ!, the reigning queen shared the significant impact that her role has had on her life.
“On a personal level, it has instilled a profound sense of responsibility and taught me to remain grounded, regardless of the challenges I face. Professionally, this platform has opened numerous opportunities, enabling me to collaborate with influential individuals and advocate for meaningful causes. These experiences have broadened my perspective and enhanced my confidence as a leader, equipping me for the global stage”.
While achieving the crown would fulfill a lifelong dream, Miss Namibia’s aspirations go beyond her success. She aims to raise awareness about pressing global issues, including poverty, food security and women’s empowerment.
Through her participation in the global competition, she seeks to foster meaningful discussions that will encourage others to effect change within their communities.
Anyolo credits her successful journey to the steadfast support of her fellow citizens.
“The love and encouragement I have received have strengthened my mindset, giving me the confidence to represent my country with pride,” said the beauty queen.
With the backing of Namibia, she aspires to present the country’s distinctive combination of natural beauty and cultural richness at the Miss Universe competition.
“The stunning landscapes, ranging from the Namib Desert to our vibrant coastline, along with the resilience of our people, truly sets Namibia apart,” she remarked.
She intends to emphasise these attributes through her national costume and personal narratives, offering the world a glimpse into the heart of Namibia.
Recognising that competing on an international platform inherently involves pressure, Anyolo has discovered methods to maintain her composure. She remains anchored in her mission by adhering to her passions and principles. “I remind myself that my purpose is to represent Namibia with pride, and to remain true to my identity.
This perspective keeps me focused, and allows me to embrace the journey, regardless of the outcome,” she stated.
Should she secure the Miss Universe title, her foremost goal is to expand the Crowning Gardens initiative, enhancing food security for additional communities.
Her vision encompasses a world where everyone has access to the resources and opportunities necessary for a brighter future.
As she embarks on this extraordinary journey to Miss Universe, she is resolute, driven by a profound sense of purpose and a mission to effect change.
She is prepared to face the challenge and inspire the world with the spirit of Namibia.
