Chery has expanded its flagship Tiggo 8 line-up by introducing the new Tiggo 8 Pro Executive Plus. This value-packed trim is designed to make Tiggo 8 ownership more accessible, and offers an attractive price without sacrificing the luxury, safety or technology Chery is known for.

From a styling perspective, the Pro Executive Plus impresses with an eye-catching design that resembles the range-topping Pro Max derivative, without a higher price tag. Stylish 18-inch wheels pair beautifully with the styling. 

The Executive Plus is distinguished by a classy diamond-effect radiator grille, highlighted by an illuminated Chery logo, adding an upmarket presence to the front fascia. Standard features include LED head and taillights, roof rails, privacy glass and a panoramic sunroof, among other luxuries.

This model is powered by Chery’s turbo-charged 1.6-litre 290T engine, which delivers strong outputs of 145 kW and 290 Nm of torque, channelled to the front wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Despite its powerful engine and generously size-d exterior, the Executive Plus returns 7.3L/100 km, as measured during manufacturer testing cycles.

Drivers can tailor their experience with three driving modes — Standard, Eco and Sport — and two Dynamic Adjustable Steering modes, Eco and Sport, for a personalised feel behind the wheel. The towing capacity is rated at 750 kg (braked) and 1500 kg (unbraked). 

The front and rear axles have MacPherson strut and multi-link suspension setups, respectively, delivering a smooth and balanced ride. All-around disc brakes handle stopping power, with ventilated discs on the front axle for increased performance. 

Inside, the Executive Plus offers all the comforts of a luxury vehicle, even though it’s the entry point to the Tiggo 8 Pro line-up. The cabin features black leather upholstery across three seating rows, accommodating seven passengers. The driver and front passenger seats boast electric adjustment, heating  and a memory function for the driver, adding to the overall experience.
