Rising boxing promoter Tobias Naule from Golden Boxing is set to host an exciting amateur boxing tournament this Saturday in Oshitenda, an informal settlement in Windhoek. 

The event, which will run from 14h00 to 18h00, is proudly sponsored by CastleBet and promises to be a day of intense and impactful boxing action.

Naule shared that the tournament will feature senior amateur boxers and the matches are expected to be electrifying. “The fights will be impactful as they will serve as a catalyst for positive change and physical well-being. This event will provide a platform to help boxers develop and refine their skills and form.

“While the competition will be fierce, he stressed the importance of creating a supportive environment for the participants. “It will be competitive, but also supportive, and we urge people to come out in large numbers to support the boxers.”

This event is particularly special as it marks a rare occurrence in informal settlements, where opportunities for such sporting events are often limited. “It will be a great event, as there aren’t such events in informal settlements.

“We thank CastleBet for coming on board, and we don’t want this to be a one-off event, but an ongoing initiative. In the future, we hope to expand to other parts of the country,” Naule added.
