The police were called in to remove the lifeless body of an approximately four-month old foetus from a dustbin in Pioniers Park Extension 1 yesterday morning. People scavenging from one dustbin to another in the early hours before dawn in search of food reportedly made the gruesome discovery when one opened this particular dustbin, in which they found a bleeding foetus wrapped in a plastic shopping bag. They started yelling to alert nearby residents, who in turn called the police. This is the third reported incident of baby dumping in Windhoek this month.
