WINDHOEK – Kraatz Marine recently donated 110 packs of canned fish to Erongo Regional Council through the Workers Empowerment Fund. Kraatz Marine is a subsidiary of the Ohlthaver & List (O&L) group of companies.

“We know that the drought has really taken its toll on numerous people, their crops and livestock. We have also learned about children who have died as a result of malnutrition. In a country such as ours this should not be happening and we sincerely hope that our donation will assist those that have been afflicted so severely by the drought,” said Johannes Kangandjera, general manager of human capital at Kraatz Marine.

The Kraatz Marine Workers Committee identified the Erongo Regional Council as the recipient of the donation to ensure distribution of the canned fish to the affected rural constituencies. The Governor of the Erongo Region Cleophas Mutjavikua, received the donation.
