Kurzca overcomes depression through music

Multi-faceted artist and model Charmy ‘Kurzca’ Kurz was bullied as a child until the ninth grade for her weight, and that ultimately dimmed her light, growing up.

The artist also endured other forms of bullying until she reached a point of seeking help two years ago.

The music creator recently became the centre of attention in the industry when she shared information about her faith, and thanked God for restoring her life.

“Depression starts from childhood. It is a silent creeper, when you are chosen (as we all are), the devil targets you as a child. He will use things and people around you to influence and abuse you. He starts in the mind, and then moves into the body. That’s how a “heart of stone” develops. With me, I was bullied as a kid till ninth grade,” she shared.

Kurzca said bullying allowed the spirit of rejection to enter her, and that is how it all started.

The ‘Dat is good’ hitmaker said once she entered the music scene, it became worse.

“I went in such a ‘survival’ mode because I did not deal with that from my childhood that I became more masculine in my spirit. I had to be Alpha in everything as ‘protection’. Making decisions out of God’s will because I thought I had the power to solve it all, I didn’t lean on Jesus,” she stated.

She added, “One becomes so dark that you just go with the world’s ways, consuming yourself with the things that the world calls ‘pleasure’ or ‘happiness’ blinded by money, alcohol, drugs, letting lust take over us and all this attention, surrounded by folks who just want something out of you.”

Kurzca has been in the music industry for a decade.

She became engaged with the industry after she went to Cape Town to study music.

According to the artist, she wanted something more. So, she followed her heart, expanded her music online, and started travelling abroad. She is now based in the United States of America.

“I like to describe my genre as ‘healing music’ because when you truly have that spiritual connection with music, you can do it all. There are no limits. It’s your superpower and frequency from God. I don’t call it Gospel either because people even use that to place you in a box. It is ‘good news’ music. It will help the blind to see, the deaf to hear, and the lame will walk,” she said.

Kurzca narrated: “Two years ago, I went to see a psychologist, that was my first time seeking professional help. It first seemed normal, but the more I went, the more I started realising that this person was a witch. One of the most powerful witches in Hollywood. The closer I got to them, the more they showed me their secrets ,and wanted me to be part of them. I was taken to the places where they have their gathering, and I saw the rituals they do. They are behind the ‘elite’ people of the world.”

The artist shared that God allowed her to see how they work through the music, how they manipulate the frequencies to get you deeper into darkness, and that is why certain songs make you sad or angrier, that is a spirit.

At the time of her enlightenment, Kurzca was on her last dime.

“I could have come back to Namibia, but I had a strong feeling in my core to stay in Los Angeles. One night, I was preparing myself to go sleep on the streets of Venice Beach, because I didn’t know where else to go. I prayed, and Jesus spoke to me. It was comfort and a love I’d never felt before. After that night, the next day I got a room for free! I was safe,” she stated.

Kurzca said she is a renewed person, who is currently on a new path in life.

“New music will be dropping soon! Real music is talking about real stuff, we need it, and that helps heal people. I will never in my life sing things that take people deeper into darkness. I refuse to be a part of that. I am not ignorant anymore,” noted the young artist.
