The Athletics Namibia (AN) Grand Prix is set to take place at Vineta Stadium in Swakopmund this Saturday, promising an action-packed day of competition.
Among the star athletes confirmed is Namibia’s sprint sensation Beatrice Masilingi, who will compete in the highly anticipated 100-metre race.
Masilingi, who has been training diligently, expressed her excitement about starting the season early. “My body feels great, and I believe it’s the right time to prepare for what lies ahead,” she said.
Event director Berthold Karumendu assured that all is set for a successful meet, noting that preparations have gone smoothly. “Everything is in place for the weekend, and we are excited to see athletes from across the country showcase their talent,” he said.
The Grand Prix will feature athletes representing various clubs from across Namibia, competing in a range of track and field events. Below is a list of notable participants:
