M&Z Motors expands Ondangwa facility

M&Z Motors expands Ondangwa facility

Notable motoring sector growth has enabled M&Z Motors to expand its presence in northern Namibia by opening a new showroom and state-of-the-art workshop in the town of Ondangwa. The opening, which took place last week, was officiated by Oshana governor, Elia Irimari, and M&Z Motors managing director Ekko Eisenberg, in the company of captains of industry as well as regional and community leaders.

M&Z Motors last year increased the number of brands in its motoring stable and now represents trusted and reliable motoring brands, including Mercedes Benz, Jeep, Mahindra, JAC Motors, Hyundai, Kia, Chery, Ineos and Peugeot. The new facility opened last week complements an existing showroom that the group opened there in 2022.

The group’s new facility in Ondangwa is comprised of fully-equipped workshops, offices and washing bays. At the opening event, Eisenberg noted that despite continued volatility in the motoring trade, the M&Z Group has invested and is ready to serve its customers to the best of its ability.

This, he added, is why the group is taking its services closer to the people. During last week’s glamourous opening, guests were treated to a tour of the new facility.

At the opening, M&Z Motors Ondangwa branch manager Anna Muleka, commended the group for bringing its trusted brands closer to Namibia’s population centre, specifically the JAC Motors brand, which she noted is not only affordable and capable but also fuel efficient.  Elaborating on the JAC brand, sales manager, Karl-Heinz Eisenberg reminded customers of the amazing deals available.

“During the last quarter of 2023, we reintroduced a facelifted T8 SuperLux derivative that retailed for N$519 000 but is now on special for N$499 000. Also, we have now reintroduced the T8 Lux at a remarkable N$450 000. Keep in mind these are 2024 models which are all 4×4,” said Karl-Heinz.

He added that the eye-popping, head-turning T9 SuperLux is available for a great value of N$600 000. This is indeed a remarkable offer, considering it comes with an engine warranty of five years or 100 000km. What’s even more impressive and a continued vote of confidence in JAC’s build quality is that the warranty on the JAC X200, a small truck, has been extended to seven years or 200 000km.
