The biggest allocation in the budget is N$24 million, aimed for servicing Extension 30.
The service will include water, electricity and sewer infrastructure.

Council has further allocated N$5.8 million for improvements to the Uupopo and Ruben Danger Ashipala sewerage systems.
Storm water infrastructure projects will also continue in Oluno and Ondangwa Extension 6, while storm water channels are planned for Embale and the Open Market area to help reduce flooding during rainy seasons.

Plans are also underway for the construction of a new sewer treatment plant.
Public infrastructure and economic development projects also form part of the budget, including the upgrading of Trade Fair facilities and the construction of the Gwakondo Leisure Park.
Mutikisha highlighted some of the service delivery projects completed during the financial year ending in June 2026.
These include the construction of gravel roads in informal settlements and the upgrading of a tarred road in Extension 8, connecting Gwashamba Mall to Sun Square Mall through the new Government Institutions Pension Fund area and pass through Nored offices.
The projects are expected to improve service delivery, support economic growth and strengthen sustainable urban development in Ondangwa.
