Jenniffer Muriel Van den Heever was born on January 21, 1962.

Legislative Profile:
She joined the National Assembly last year and is currently the DTA’s Chief Whip. She is a member of the Parliamentary Standing Committees on Human Resources and Community Development, on Gender Equality, Social Development and Family Affairs as well as Information, Communication Technology and Innovation.

Education:
She has a Standard 10 (Grade 12) that she obtained in 1979.

Career:
She is currently the National Chairperson of the DTA and a Perpetual Deacon at the Anglican Diocese of Namibia. She is a former primary and pre-primary teacher, served once as the DTA regional chairperson and a former immigration officer at the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Human resources and foreign affairs.
