VIBEZ! – Zambezi night returns with a bang

The extravaganza Zambezi Night is making a triumphant return after a three-year break, promising a night of unity, joy and cultural pride.

The event is set to take place on 1 December in the capital.

Alexander Sikalumbu, popularly known as DJ Siya, shared his excitement about the event, and highlighted its significance as a gathering where people from the Zambezi region come together as one family.

DJ Siya emphasised the theme of togetherness, expressing joy in seeing people happy and dancing to their favourite music. With a hiatus of three years, Zambezi Night is set to make a grand comeback, now bigger and better than ever, serving as a platform to promote and celebrate the rich culture of the region.

“We want to invite people to come in big numbers as everyone is invited, not just from the Zambezi region. The night will feature traditional songs, creating memorable moments of fun and enjoyment,” DJ Siya stated.

The event, scheduled to start at 18h00, aims to cater for everyone, with early performances to ensure a lively atmosphere.

The impressive line-up includes renowned artists such as DJ Siya, DJ Vuyo, Shanky Briz, Kwaito Lager, DJ Kiki, Mdu the Future Drummer, Begga, Erro and surprise acts who promise to grace the stage.

While there’s no specific dress code, attendees are encouraged to add a touch of cultural flair with Chitenge or Mashamba attire, enhancing the night’s memorable experience.

The venue, The Catch in Windhoek, offers ample parking and tight security measures for a safe and enjoyable event.

Food and beverage options will be available, ensuring attendees are well-catered to throughout the night.

On a musical note, he shared that his brother, Frans Akayombokwa Sinengela, has released a song titled “Mwale Nitwike Ft Dj Siya,” available on YouTube, adding an extra layer of excitement to the upcoming festivities.
