There is an urgent need to expand the infrastructure at the University of Namibia in order to meet demand, Unam Vice Chancellor, Professor Lazarus Hangula, said in a recent interview.
The growing number of students at the institution poses a challenge to the institution built in pre-colonial times and designed to accommodate a limited number of students.
The institution was built before Namibia’s independence with an enrolment of about 250 students and the number has since grown to 10ǟ
