VALENTINE’S Day symbolizes love, peace and unity in a relationship across the age demographic the world over.

As I have been researching about “youth life” and I’m going through this phase I came across that youth are the most to express themselves during this period, but we fail to understand what love is and we ignore love. We fail to express and apply love daily. Due to our misunderstanding and ignorance we contribute to the trials we are going through and this leads to death, pain and temptations.

Nowadays true love is rare and it’s the only thing that gives life a real meaning. To understand, feel and find love, we should make Valentine’s Day every day. We claim to love, but we still break others’ hearts, we kill our partners, we betray them, we break up for fun, we divorce, we cheat on them, we humiliate then, we talk behind their backs and do many bad things to them. Love is not wealth that we run for, because wealth might fade away. Love is not that look we compete for, because that look might deceive. Love is not a person’s career as God has a plan for an individual. Never go for someone whom your people think suits you, because “beauty lies in the eye of the beholder”. Go for someone you truly love.

Never commit suicide over a person who betrays you, broke up with you, who cheated on you, someone who divorced, someone who walked out of your life, as he or she found someone different and has no interest in you. Someone who loves you for another person, believe me; that person was never meant for you and his or her story in your life is over.

Never kill someone who walked out of your life and you spent putting a lot in. Keep this in mind a kid, materials and money that you gave to your partner don’t guarantee an everlasting relationship. Materials and money don’t value a person’s life.
When trials come your way, you should be grateful that you are loved and valued by others. Those who bring the best in you, and respect and accept you for whom you are, are the ones worth keeping around you.

Youth life is full of uncertainties, one moment you are the king of the world and the next moment you may amount to nothing, but we should be okay with failure because that is where we’ll learn some of life’s greatest lessons. Difficulties are God’s errands; and when we are sent upon them, we should esteem it as proof of God’s confidence. Problems are not stopping signs but rather manners of travelling.
University life and job hunting are the toughest phase in a youth’s life. We should stay awake and have faith that the right day will come. As God will make a way where there seems to be no way. Let’s not please people, but the Almighty one. Believe in something bigger than ourselves, because the world is not about you and the second we should think it is, the world will teach us a lesson.

We should be thankful, because thankfulness creates joy and contentment, life is intended to be enjoyed. Be honest and a loyal friend who speaks the truth with love and stands firmly through the best and worst times. We should be what God intended us to be, we should be compassionate, faithful, forgiving and have respect because nobody gains anything from being opposite to these.

Youth: Let’s chase our dreams until we catch them and then dream, catch and dream again. Impossible is nothing.
Love is pain, especially when you never thought love could turn to hate in the blink of an eye, but God counts everyone’s tears, so be careful when you make someone cry – “every tear is a waterfall”. When you love, love with no limitations, but if you are betrayed; love yourself enough to let go. You deserve to be happy.
