The Swapo Party celebrated its election victory in the streets of Eenhana on Saturday after decimating contesting parties, Rally for Democracy and Progress (RDP) and the Congress of Democrats (CoD).
Polling stations closed at 21h00 on Friday and counting of votes was concluded at 03h00 the next morning at a central point in the town in the presence of members of all political parties, presiding officers and other election officials, as well as the media.
